After everything that we went through with Hudson when he was just a puppy, we decided to get pet insurance after his spinal surgery. Before that, I didn't realize the importance of pet insurance & how much it really can save you. Since then, we have used it multiple times and it has helped a ton!

A Few Things To Look For When Selecting Pet Insurance:

• Age restrictions

  • Make sure they cover your dog's age and will continue to cover your dog as they get older

• Breed exclusions

  • Read through and make sure your dogs breed is accepted for their insurance

• Compare basic plan options

  • Monthly premiums, deductibles, claim reimbursement amounts, and limits
